EssilorLuxottica Launches Stellest 2.0

Available from April 2026

Advancing Myopia Management

Building on the strong clinical performance of Essilor's Stellest lens, the new and improved Stellest 2.0 lenses aim to provide higher efficacy in slowing axial length progression than the first-generation lenses.

The efficacy and performance of Essilor Stellest 2.0 lenses lies within the newly designed H.A.L.T Max technology. This builds upon the initial H.A.L.T principle design by increasing both the mean power and the lens asphericity. This creates a stronger optical signal to slow axial length elongation and myopia progression.

Clinical results from a 12-month randomised, double-masked study in Singapore show that Essilor Stellest 2.0 lenses significantly reduced axial elongation relative to the initial lens design. The clinical trial also showed children with faster axial length elongation on Essilor Stellest lenses had improved outcomes when switching to Essilor Stellest 2.0 lenses.
